Charge Density and Mobility of Charge Density Waves in the Quasi-One-Dimensional Conductor NbS3

چکیده

Three charge density waves (CDWs), two of which are formed above room temperature, observed in the NbS 3 monoclinic phase (NbS -II). The and mobility high-field limit have been determined for each three CDWs this work using synchronization effect high-frequency fields. It has found that CDW is approximately equal to normal-state quasiparticles condensed it. Furthermore, correlation between temperature dependences mobilities quasiparticles. results refresh problems a mechanism conductivity distribution atomic chains unit cell.

High magnetic field induced charge density wave state in a quasi-one-dimensional organic conductor.

The quasi-one-dimensional organic conductor (Per)2Pt(mnt)2 exhibits a charge density wave ground state below 8 K. Magnetoresistance and magnetization measurements show that the charge density wave is suppressed with magnetic fields of order 20 T, above which a high resistance state, with a cascade of subphases, appears. This new state, tentatively identified as a field induced charge density wa...

Unusual spectral behavior of charge-density waves with imperfect nesting in a quasi-one-dimensional metal.

Low-temperature electronic properties of the charge-density-wave system NbSe3 are reported from angle-resolved photoemission at 15 K. The effect of two instabilities q(1) and q(2) on the k-resolved spectral function is observed for the first time. With a pseudogap background, the gap spectra exhibit maxima at Delta*(1) approximately 110 meV and Delta*(2) approximately 45 meV. Imperfectly nested...

Chiral charge-density waves.

We discovered the chirality of charge-density waves (CDW) in 1T-TiSe₂ by using STM and time-domain optical polarimetry. We found that the CDW intensity becomes Ia₁∶Ia₂∶Ia₃ = 1∶0.7 ± 0.1∶0.5 ± 0.1, where Ia(i) (i=1,2,3) is the amplitude of the tunneling current contributed by the CDWs. There were two states, in which the three intensity peaks of the CDW decrease clockwise and anticlockwise. The ...

Coexistence of superconductivity and charge-density wave in the quasi-one-dimensional material HfTe3

We present the first experimental evidence for metallicity, superconductivity (SC) and the co-existence of charge density waves (CDW) in the quasi-one-dimensional material HfTe3. The existence of such phenomena is a typical characteristic of the transition metal chalcogenides however, without the application of hydrostatic pressure/chemical doping, it is rare for a material to exhibit the co-ex...
